Srinagar, June 6 (KNO): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday chaired a meeting of senior party leaders at her residence in Khimber, Srinagar.
The meeting, per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), was attended by PDP Vice President Mohd Sartaj Madni, Chairman of the Parliamentary Board A.R. Veeri, General Secretary (Organisation) Ghulam Nabi Hanjura, and Chief Spokesperson Mehboob Beg.
General Secretaries Khurshid Alam and Abdul Haq Khan, senior leaders Naeem Akhtar, Basharat Bukhari, Mansoor Hussain, and Yasir Reshi were also present.
Among others, MLAs Rafiq Ahmad Naik (Tral), Fayaz Ahmad Mir (Kupwara), and Waheed Para (Pulwama) participated in the deliberations.
According to party sources, the meeting reviewed the functioning of the party and discussed recent political developments in Jammu and Kashmir.
Leaders also exchanged views on organisational matters and the prevailing political scenario in the region—(KNO)
